Hickok’s Casino is currently closed for renovations. It is expected to be closed through May 2023. Casino operations are ongoing at its sister property, Bullock Hotel.
Hickok’s is located towards the southern end of downtown. In addition to a casino, there is a smoking lounge, bar, and some food options that include hot dogs, burgers and pizza.
Hickok’s once took over the Cody’s casino floor. It was located adjacent to Hickok’s. That space is now a Harley Davidson store.

Hickok’s casino
This casino does not offer live table games or poker. However, Hickok’s offers an Interblock video blackjack machine that hits on all 17’s, allows double down on anything, double after the split and surrender. The video Three Card Poker machine is no longer available at Hickok’s.
Hickok’s video poker
Hickok’s video poker is as bad as it gets. It is only slightly better than the best video lottery games. The best game is 15/10 Deuces Wild (94.82%). Other dismal games include 10/8/5 Bonus Poker (94.18%), 6/5 Jacks or Better (95.5%), 6/5 Double Double Bonus (94.7%) and Joker Poker (94.27%). Hickok’s smoking lounge
Hickok’s offers a smoking lounge in the back of the casino. It allows players to take a smoking break without having to leave the building. Guests may not bring alcohol into the smoking lounge.

Hickok’s Hotel
Hickok’s remodeled its 100-year-old hotel in 2006. There are 22 hotel rooms. Hickok’s offers several room options. These include standard single queen rooms all the way up to suites. Smoking rooms are available. A $10 per night charge is added for parking.
Hotel rooms
Standard rooms at Hickok’s Hotel feature a single queen, single king or two full beds. All rooms include refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair, dryer, iron/ironing board, safe and internet cord access. Other room features vary and may include jetted bathtub, claw foot bathtub, fireplace, street views, entertainment center or additional seating.
Suites
Five junior and two executive suites are available. The junior suites feature two bedrooms, entertainment center and a jetted or claw bathtub. Executive suites also feature a fireplace in a separate living room. One executive suite has a king and two full beds and the other has a queen and two full beds.

If rooms are unavailable at Hickok’s, they suggest staying at the Historic Bullock Hotel.
