US Casino Advantage is part of a network of sites that use the Advantage branding. It was the fifth in the network. The other sites are listed below, in order of launch. Learn more about these sites and how to support our work.

Vegas Advantage
Vegas Advantage is our flagship site. It is where the idea for all of this originated. It launched in April 2018. We moved the Las Vegas Blackjack Survey and Las Vegas Table Game Survey to it in 2021. Previously, we sold this annual project to other websites. Vegas Advantage includes a blog with over 150 posts. There are also a Las Vegas poker room and Las Vegas sportsbook sections.
Deadwood Advantage
We lived near Deadwood, South Dakota for five years. That made Deadwood Advantage a good fit for a second site in the network. This site was published in August 2019. We moved it to this site in January 2023.
Deadwood was the third jurisdiction to have legalized casinos in the country after Nevada and Atlantic City. Many Deadwood gaming establishments are in old stores and taverns. There are a few larger properties along the outskirts of town.
Colorado Advantage
Colorado Advantage was our third site. We launched it in October 2020. However, the information was moved to this site in March 2023. It covers casinos in Black Hawk, Central City, Cripple Creek, and the state’s two tribal casinos. Colorado Advantage includes blackjack and table game surveys, as well as a casino dining guide. There is also a Colorado mobile sportsbook section.
West Virginia Advantage
West Virginia Advantage was our first site east of the Mississippi River. We published it in June 2021. West Virginia Advantage has blackjack and table game surveys. There is a dining guide that covers what restaurants are open at each property. It also has reviews for West Virginia mobile casinos and sportsbooks.
Maryland Advantage
Maryland Advantage also went live in June 2021. It was our sixth site as US Casino Advantage was published earlier the same day. Relocated to US Casino Advantage, information includes a blackjack and table game survey, as well as a poker section.
Atlantic City Advantage
Atlantic City Advantage was our seventh launch. With 42 pages of content, it was our largest. Atlantic City Advantage has a blackjack survey, table game survey, and poker room sections. There is also a dining guide with every open restaurant at Atlantic City casinos. Online gaming content includes poker, mobile casinos, and sportsbooks. Atlantic City Advantage went live in August 2021.
Pennsylvania Advantage
Pennsylvania Advantage was our eighth site on the network. It was nearly as large as Atlantic City Advantage when it went live. It has a blackjack and table game survey, as well as a poker room directory. There is also a casino dining section. Mobile gaming reviews include online poker, casinos, and sportsbooks. Pennsylvania Advantage was launched in August 2021 and relocated to US Casino Advantage in August 2023.
Ohio Advantage
Ohio Advantage was our ninth launch. It has a blackjack and table game survey. There is also a poker room and casino dining directory. Ohio Advantage went live in September 2021. We moved it to this site in January 2023.
Michigan Advantage
Michigan Advantage was our latest and tenth site in the Advantage network. The state has a large number of tribal casinos, in addition to three commercial casinos in downtown Detroit. In addition to retail casinos, we cover online poker, casinos, and sportsbooks in the state. Michigan Advantage went live in May 2022. However, we moved it to this site in February 2023.
John and Kristina Mehaffey founded US Casino Advantage. They authored the majority of the content on these sites.
Originally from the Atlanta suburbs, they spent five years in the Black Hills of South Dakota between Rapid City and Deadwood. They have lived in Las Vegas since 2010. A couple of trips to the Colorado mountains were taken in September 2020 and again in October 2021. In the spring of 2021, they took a road trip that covered casinos in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Maryland, and parts of Michigan and Indiana.
