Online poker reviews

Online poker is available to players in most states. It is legal in Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey. These poker sites deal cash games, sit and gos, and multi-table tournaments. The games available include Texas hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha hi/lo. Read more in our online poker reviews.

Las Vegas poker rooms

Las Vegas is home to the World Series of Poker. There are 19 open Las Vegas poker rooms. There were 31 before the pandemic closure. Players will find poker rooms throughout the Las Vegas Strip and locals market. There is only one poker room left in downtown Las Vegas. 

Atlantic City poker rooms

Only three of the five Atlantic City poker rooms have reopened. Those are located at Borgata, Harrah’s, and Tropicana. Borgata is by far the largest of the three. Harrah’s and Tropicana operate with the same promotions and game selection. Poker tournaments have returned to Borgata. Harrah’s and Tropicana only deal cash games.

Colorado poker rooms

There are five open Colorado poker rooms. Four are located in Black Hawk. Midnight Rose in Cripple Creek is the other. There are no poker rooms in Central City. The Black Hawk poker rooms are at Ameristar, Bally’s, Isle, and Monarch. Bally’s is the only one with poker tournaments. 

Deadwood poker rooms

There are three Deadwood poker rooms. This South Dakota city is the only place where commercial casinos are legal in the state. Cadillac Jack’s, Saloon No. 10, and Silverado all deal cash games and poker tournaments. The $1,000 bet limit makes no-limit games impossible. Most games are spread limit, typically 2-10, 2-20 with a few higher limit spreads up to a few hundred dollars. The Mid-States Poker Tour visits Silverado twice a year. 

Maryland poker rooms

There are four poker rooms in Maryland. All are at the casinos closest to Baltimore. The Maryland poker rooms are at Hollywood Casino Perryville, Horseshoe Baltimore, Live! Maryland and MGM National Harbor.

Michigan poker rooms

There are seven casino poker rooms in Michigan. One is in Detroit. Two are at tribal casinos in the Lower Peninsula. The other is at a tribal casino on the Upper Peninsula. Most deal poker tournaments. Two of the three Detroit poker rooms closed in 2024.

North Carolina poker room

There are two poker rooms in North Carolina. One is located at Harrah’s Cherokee, and the other is at Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River. Both offer cash games and tournaments.

Ohio poker rooms

There are four Ohio poker rooms. These are located at Hard Rock Casino, Hollywood Casino Columbus, Hollywood Casino Toledo, and JACK Cleveland. These are all the full-service casinos in the state. Hard Rock Casino and Hollywood Casino Columbus deal poker tournaments. 

Pennsylvania poker rooms

There are eight Pennsylvania poker rooms. These are located at Live! Philadelphia, Meadows, Mohegan Sun Pocono, Mount Airy, Parx, Rivers Philadelphia, Rivers Pittsburgh, and Wind Creek. Two other Pennsylvania poker rooms remain temporarily closed. Wind Creek reopened its poker room on October 1, 2021. Several poker rooms in Pennsylvania deal tournaments. 

West Virginia poker rooms

There were four West Virginia poker rooms before the pandemic. Three have reopened. Those are at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, Mardi Gras Casino, and Wheeling Island. No West Virginia poker rooms have tournaments.
