Laughlin, Nevada Casinos and Hotels

US Casino Advantage most recently visited Laughlin, Nevada, in April 2026. The market has 10 casinos. Nine are along Casino Drive. Avi is the other. It is over 10 miles south of the rest of the market’s casinos. 

Six Laughlin casinos deal table games. The three that don’t have live table games offer a few electronic ones. This page covers those games, video poker, poker rooms, bingo, and dining options in the Laughlin area.

There is no commercial airport near Laughlin. Junkets run out of Bullhead City, which is across the Colorado River. Most visitors from Arizona, California, and other parts of Nevada drive to Laughlin. Once there, guests can take the water taxi between eight of the casinos. This is a boat that carries passengers. The fee is $5 one way or $25 for a day pass. 

The water taxi does not run as far as Avi. Tropicana is across from the Colorado River and does not have a stop. US Casino Advantage made this water taxi video during a past visit in June 2024:

The Colorado Belle was once a Laughlin casino. However, it closed in March 2020 and never reopened.

Six Laughlin casinos deal live table games. All that have live games deal at least blackjack and roulette. There are many types of poker pit games available. The first list is where to find each game. The second list shows each casino’s table game availability. 

Laughlin blackjack survey

The Laughlin blackjack rules are nearly universal at 3/2 games. The dealer hits soft 17. Double down before, but not after splitting, is permitted. Most standard tables do not permit surrender or re-splitting aces. Exceptions are in parentheses below. Free Bet Blackjack has unique rules that permit actions not allowed at traditional Laughlin blackjack tables.

The Aquarius $5 table games are 3 Card Prime, Cajun Stud, craps, Four Card Frenzy, Heads Up Hold’em, High Card Flush, and Let It Ride. Craps has 5 times max odds and the Field pays double on 12. Double zero roulette and Emperor’s Challenge Pai Gow Poker are $10. Players may bank at pai gow. A 5% commission is charged on wins. 

Avi

Golden Nugget

Golden Nugget deals two $5 table games. Those are Jackpot Hold’em and Three Card Poker. Jackpot Hold’em plays like Ultimate Texas Hold’em, except players see one of the flop cards before acting. The maximum preflop raise is only three times due to this feature. Fortune Pai Gow Poker, double zero roulette, and craps are $10. Fortune Pai Gow Poker permits player banking and has the traditional 5% commission on wins. Craps is 3-4-5 times odds. The Field pays double on 12. The Hot Roller side bet is available.

Harrah’s

The $5 games at Harrah’s are craps with 3-4-5 times odds and the Field paying double on 12, Let It Ride, Mississippi Stud, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. High Card Flush and double zero roulette are $10. Face Up Pai Gow Poker was $15. 

Harrah’s has the only triple zero roulette wheel in Laughlin. It was closed during our visit. It is probably $10, when available.

Riverside

Riverside has one of the largest selections of live table games in Laughlin. The main pit offers $5 Deuces Wild Hold’em Fold’em, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. For $10, players will find craps and double zero roulette. Craps is 3-4-5 times odds. The Field pays double on 12. Face Up Pai Gow Poker is $15. 

The nonsmoking pit has $5 Let It Ride. It also has some blackjack tables.

Tropicana

Tropicana’s table games are only open from 10am until 2am Thursday through Sunday. Four non-blackjack games are available. I Luv Suits, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em are $5. These tables network into a progressive jackpot that hits when a player makes a royal flush in five cards. Double zero roulette is $10.

Hybrid and electronic table games

Also called live dealer games, hybrid tables mix electronic wagering with a dealer. In dice games, this means only one dealer is needed, and players still take turns throwing dice. The roulette dealer still spins the wheel, but chips are placed on individual screens instead of a central felt.

Various electronic table games, also known as ETGs, are available at Laughlin, Nevada, casinos. This includes three Interblock stadium setups. Stadiums allow players to choose and wager on up to four games at once. Players can flip between game screens or watch the action on all selected games simultaneously.

Electronic table games can also be found as heads-up or multiplayer games. Heads-up games allow guests to play at their own pace, while multiplayer machines allow group energy similar to a live table. Casino Wizard machines at Pioneer Casino and Laughlin River Lodge offer multiple games. However, players can only wager on one game at a time.

Some games can only be found as an electronic table game

A few table games can only be found as an ETG in Laughlin. This includes baccarat, big six, crapless craps, Easy Craps, Sic Bo, and Swap ‘Em Poker.

Five casinos with video baccarat

In Laughlin, baccarat is only available as an electronic table game. It can be found on Interblock Stadium installations and Casino Wizard machines. It is available at five casinos: Aquarius, Avi Casino, Edgewater, Laughlin River Lodge, and Pioneer.

On Interblock Stadiums, multiple versions may be available. Side bets vary by the game selected. Stadium games have a $3 minimum at Aquarius and Edgewater and a $2 minimum at Avi. All installations also have a 50% commission on a Banker win with six

Baccarat is also found on Casino Wizard machines at Dotty’s inside Laughlin River Lodge and Pioneer Casino. The game uses a single deck and has a 5% commission on Banker wins. Games have a $1 minimum and offer Bac+4  and Lucky 99 side bets.

Electronic big six wheels

Like baccarat, big six is only available in Laughlin as an ETG. Five casinos offer big six with a $1 minimum. Megamania Superspin is attached to the stadiums at Aquarius, Avi Casino, and Edgewater. A heads-up version is also on the Casino Wizard at Pioneer and the Dotty’s inside Laughlin River Lodge Casino.

The stadium version works like a multiplayer game. All players wager on the results of the same spin; the giant wheel auto-spins at regular intervals, allowing players time to wager between spins. These games have four wedges with a random multiplier. When playing the Casino Wizard version, a video wheel spins on the player’s screen. There is also a chance of a random multiplier on each spin. The multipliers range from double to 100 times.

Crapless craps rolls at five Laughlin casinos

Crapless craps is only found as a hybrid or electronic table game in Laughlin. Players should be aware that the 5% commission is charged upfront on Buy bets. This has unfortunately become more common. It also pays double on a Field 12. The Lucky Roller side bet allows players the option of low rolls (30:1), high rolls (30:1), or roll ‘em all (155:1).

Tropicana has a hybrid table with a $5 minimum.

Crapless craps is a $3 game on stadium installations at Aquarius and Edgewater. Aquarius also has a bank of five heads-up machines with a $1 minimum. Pioneer and Edgewater each have three machines with $1 minimums, while Harrah’s and Tropicana each have a pair of machines with $3 minimums.

Easy Craps

Easy Craps is available as an option on the stadiums at Edgewater and Aquarius. It uses the same dice results as craps and crapless craps games, and offers the same side bet. Harrah’s has two heads-up machines. Games have a $3 minimum.

Sic Bo on U1 machines

Laughlin River Lodge Casino has U1 machines throughout the property. These machines offer a small selection of table games. Sic Bo is one of the options. Limits for this three-dice game range from $2.50 to $500.

Only one place to play Swap ‘em Poker

Swap ‘em Poker is a game unique to the Casino Wizard machine inside Laughlin River Lodge Casino. The goal is a better five-card hand than the dealer. A pair of jacks or better is needed for the dealer to qualify.

Swap ‘em Poker is played with a two-card hand and a shared three-card board. During the game, players can opt to blindly swap their cards with the dealer. Alternatively, players have a chance to swap out the board. However, these moves require an additional wager which is lost if the dealer does not qualify. The game has limits of $1 to $5.

Other games are offered with lower limits than their live counterparts

In Laughlin, five table games can be found in both live and electronic versions. Games include blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, roulette, and Three Card Poker.

Only one casino pays 3/2 on electronic blackjack

Blackjack is on the three Casino Wizards at Pioneer and the lone machine at Laughlin River Lodge Casino. Both eight-deck games start at $1 and offer a Lucky Charlie side bet. Heads-up six-deck blackjack is also available on Interblock machines. It has a $1 minimum at Avi and Pioneer, and a $3 minimum at Harrah’s and Tropicana. Except for Avi, games have a two-player option. This allows for two games, played against different dealer hands, to use the same bankroll. Harrah’s and Tropicana offer Lucky Aces, 19+, and Poker3 side bets. Avi has Lucky Aces, Lucky Lucky, and 21+3 side bets. Pioneer has a large bet menu: 7s, A2, Match, Pair, JJ, QQ, KK, 19+, and Poker3.

Interblock Stadiums at Aquarius, Avi Casino, and Edgewater offer single-hand and multi-hand six-deck blackjack games. Up to three hands can be played against a single dealer on the multi-hand version. At Avi Casino, blackjack has a $1 minimum. Lucky Aces, Lucky Lucky, and 21+3 side bets are also available. It takes $3 to play stadium blackjack at Aquarius and Edgewater. These properties offer a larger selection of blackjack side bets, including 7s, A2, Match, Pair, JJ, QQ, KK, 19+, and Poker3.

Multiplayer versions of the game are found at Avi Casino and Pioneer Casino. Both have a $1 minimum. At Avi Casino, six-deck blackjack pays 6/5. Side bets are Lucky Aces, Lucky Lucky, and 21+3. The Dealer’s Angels machines at Pioneer pay 3/2 on blackjack. These four-deck games offer an Ultimate Match side bet.

Multiple ways to play electronic craps

Electronic craps games are found in multiple forms in Laughlin. This includes heads-up and multiplayer machines and stadium games. There is even a hybrid-craps table at Tropicana. All craps games pay double on a field 12. Some also offer a side bet. Unfortunately, most Interblock installations also charge the commission upfront for Buy bets.

In Laughlin, the most common craps ETG is heads-up Interblock machines, where each betting station has a clear cylinder containing an oversized pair of dice. These machines have a $1 minimum at Aquarius, Avi, and Pioneer. At Harrah’s and Tropicana, games start at $3 and offer a Lucky Roller side bet. The Lucky Roller side bet is also offered at Aquarius. No side bet is available at Avi Casino; however, it does not charge the commission upfront on Buy bets.

Heads-up craps is also available on the Casino Wizards at Pioneer and Laughlin River Lodge Casino. This video craps game has limits ranging from $1 to $300. It also offers max double odds and has a Super Any Craps side bet.

There is a sole Aruze Shoot to Win craps machine inside Pioneer Casino. This multiplayer craps machine has a shared bubble with a large pair of dice. When playing this version, players take turns being the shooter. Players push a button on their turn to roll the dice. Limits range from $1 to $195 for a Pass Line wager. It has max double odds.

All three stadiums in Laughlin offer craps. The stadium setup includes a pair of dice that auto-roll on camera for craps results. Results are projected on a large screen as well as individual player screens. An optional Lucky Roller side bet is also offered. At Avi Casino, limits are $1 to $200 on the Pass Line. It takes a $3 wager at Aquarius and Edgewater.

Pai gow poker on Casino Wizard

Pai gow poker is available as an electronic table game at Laughlin River Lodge and Pioneer Casino. It is an option on Casino Wizard machines. Limits are $1 to $500 at Laughlin River Lodge. It has a $300 max bet at Pioneer. A Big Pai Plus side bet is also available.

Hybrid and electronic roulette games

Most of the electronic roulette games in Laughlin are Interblock machines. Multiplayer machines have a central double zero roulette wheel. The game has a $0.50 minimum at Aquarius Casino. Avi Casino and Pioneer offer it for $1, while it takes $3 to play at Harrah’s.

Stadium 00 roulette also has a shared wheel that auto-spins. Players can also select additional games while playing on a stadium. Avi Casino has a dual roulette option. However, other games cannot be selected if this option is chosen. Minimums are $0.50 at Aquarius and Edgewater, and $1 at Avi Casino.

Laughlin River Lodge Casino offers a selection of roulette games on U1 machines. There is also a 00 roulette game on the Casino Wizard machine. It has a $1 minimum on inside bets or a $5 minimum on outside wagers. Side bets are unavailable. On the U1 machines, 0 roulette is available for $2.50 to $500. There is also a Mini roulette with multipliers. It uses numbers 0 through 12 on the wheel. Limits are $0.25 to $500. Two 00 roulette variants with multipliers are also available. Limits for these games range from $0.50 to $500.

An eight-seat hybrid roulette machine was being installed during our most recent visit to Tropicana.

Carnival roulette games are now on some stadiums

Reel Roulette is also on stadium installations at Aquarius and Edgewater. The game only pays 28:1 on straight bets in exchange for a chance of two to five multipliers, ranging from 50x to 500x. It uses the same wheel results as the traditional roulette game. The game has a $0.50 minimum.

Casino Wizard’s Triple Card Poker

Triple Card Poker plays like Three Card Poker. The game is available on Casino Wizard machines at Pioneer and Laughlin River Lodge. Limits are $1 to $500. It has a Triple Plus side bet.

Laughlin electronic table games listed by property

The following is a summary of the electronic table games found, listed by property. Beyond the 00 roulette found on Game King machines, we did not see any electronic table games at Golden Nugget, Regency Casino, or Riverside Casino.

Aquarius Casino

There is a bank of heads-up crapless craps machines at Aquarius. Games have a $1 minimum and pay double for a field 12. There is also an optional Lucky Roller side bet: Low Rolls/High Rolls/Roll ‘em All.

An Interblock Stadium offers players an assortment of games. Double-zero roulette and Reel Roulette can be played for $0.50. Big six has a $1 minimum. The remaining games have a $3 minimum. 6/5 blackjack is available as a single-hand or multi-hand option. Side bets include 7s, A2, Match, Pair, JJ, QQ, KK, 19+, and Poker3. Craps and crapless craps pay double on a field 12 and have a Lucky Roller side bet. Baccarat games have various side bets.

There is also an Interblock Ministar 00 roulette machine. This multiplayer game starts at $0.50.

Avi Casino

There is a selection of Interblock electronic table games and a stadium at Avi Casino. Heads-up games include $1 blackjack and $1 craps. Blackjack pays 6/5 and hits a soft 17. It offers Lucky Aces, Lucky Lucky, and 21+3 side bets. Craps pays double on a field 12. There is no side bet on craps.

Multiplayer options include 6/5 blackjack and 00 roulette. Blackjack has the same minimum and side bet as the heads-up version. Ministar 00 roulette is available for $1.

Players can find baccarat, Big Six Megamania Superspin, blackjack, craps, and 00 roulette on the stadium at Avi. Up to four games can be selected and wagered on at a time. All games, except baccarat, have a $1 minimum. Baccarat requires $2.

Craps pays double on a field 12. The Lucky Roller side bet is also available. Like its heads-up and multiplayer options, blackjack pays 6/5 and hits a soft 17. It can be played as a single-hand game or up to three hands can be played on the multi-hand version. The same side bets are also offered. A dual roulette option allows players to bet both auto-play wheels on a single screen. However, if this option is selected, players cannot choose another game. Players can alternatively select both games individually. This allows players to choose up to two more games.

Edgewater Casino

There is an Interblock Stadium at Edgewater Casino. It offers baccarat, big six, blackjack, craps, crapless craps, Easy Craps, 00 roulette, and Reel Roulette. Games have the same rules and minimums as Aquarius. Additionally, there is a bank of heads-up bubble crapless craps games with a $1 minimum. It has a Lucky Roller side bet.

Harrah’s Laughlin

Harrah’s Laughlin has five electronic table game options: four heads-up and one multiplayer. Craps, crapless craps, and Easy Craps pay double on a field 12 and offer a Lucky Roller side bet. Blackjack pays 6/5 and hits a soft 17. It has a two-player option. Side bets include Lucky Aces, Poker3, and 19+. There is also a six-seat multiplayer 00 roulette machine. All games have a $3 minimum.

Laughlin River Lodge Casino

Most casino areas inside Laughlin River Lodge have U1 machines. Games include Sic Bo and four versions of roulette. All games have a $500 maximum bet. Sic Bo and 0 roulette have a $2.50 minimum. The mini roulette option uses numbers 0 through 12 on the wheel. It has a quarter minimum. Two double-zero roulette options have a $0.50 minimum.

On the upper level inside Dotty’s Casino, there is a unique Casino Wizard installation. All games have a $1 minimum. Options include baccarat, 6/5 blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, 00 roulette, Super Big Six, Swap ‘em Poker, and Triple Card Poker. Blackjack offers a Lucky Charlie side bet. Baccarat has Bac+4 and Lucky 99 side bets. Craps pays double on a field 12 and offers a side bet: Super Any Craps. Pai gow poker offers a Big Pai Plus bonus, and Triple Card Poker has Triple Plus.

Pioneer Casino

Pioneer has a large selection of electronic table games. All games have a $1 minimum. Multiplayer options include Aruze Shoot to Win Craps, Interblock 00 roulette, and a pair of Aruze Dealer’s Angels blackjack machines. Back-to-back, these machines pay 3/2 on blackjack, and the dealer hits a soft 17. Players can wager up to $100. There is also an Ultimate Match side bet available.

Heads-up Interblock games are 6/5 blackjack, craps, and crapless craps. Blackjack has a two-player option and a large side bet menu. The Lucky Roller side bet is available on dice games.

There is also a bank of three Casino Wizards. Options include baccarat, 6/5 blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, 00 roulette, Super Big Six, and Triple Card Poker. It has the same side bets as the installation at Laughlin River Lodge.

Tropicana Laughlin

There are various electronic table games available at Tropicana. These Interblock games include blackjack, craps, crapless craps, and 00 roulette. Hybrid crapless craps has a $5 minimum. Heads-up electronic table games are $3. A hybrid roulette table was being installed during our latest visit.

Crapless craps is available as a hybrid table or on heads-up machines. The hybrid game allows players to wager on individual screens and allows each player to take a turn rolling the dice. The shooter steps up to the central table during their roll. Dice games pay double on a field 12 and offer a Lucky Roller side bet.

Video blackjack pays 6/5, and the dealer hits soft 17. It has a two-player option. Available side bets include Lucky Aces, 19+, and Poker3.

Video poker games

All ten Laughlin casinos deal some form of 99% video poker. Some are better than others. In general, the $1 and higher machines have at least one of these types of games. Some quarter and half-dollar machines also offer these payouts. The casinos are listed in the order we surveyed. 

Tropicana Laughlin

Tropicana’s best low-limit video poker is near the valet entrance and in the nonsmoking area. It is 7/5 Bonus Poker (98.01%) with four progressive meters. The $1 denomination offers 8/5 Bonus Poker (99.17%) in two banks in the nonsmoking area. The flat tops by the bar have $1, $2, and $5 8/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe (98.49%) and 9/5 Jacks or Better (98.45%). A lone $2 machine in this area has 8/5 Bonus Poker.

Some old 3/5 Play machines just outside the bar area on the south end of the casino have good $0.50 denomination games. The options around 99% are 8/5 Bonus Poker, 9/7 Double Bonus, 9/6 Double Double Bonus, and 15/19 Deuces Wild (also available in quarter). Tropicana’s multi-hand video poker variants usually have $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, and $0.50 denominations. The options include  Split Card, Hot Roll, Triple Play, Five Play, Ten Play, Powerhouse, Ultimate X, Ultimate X Bonus Streak, Spin Poker, Super Times Pay, and Double Pay. 

Laughlin River Lodge

Laughlin River Lodge is owned by the same company as Dotty’s. Each room is a different Dotty’s brand. The best video poker is in Bourbon Street, on the front entry level, to the right. Game Kings on the floor and at the bar deal $1, $2, and $5 8/5 Ace$ Poker (99.4%), 9/7 Double Bonus (99.11%), 9/6 Double Double Bonus (98.98%), 15/9 Deuces Wild (98.91%), and a variety of 98.5% games. 

There are no video poker variants. All video poker machines are either U1s, a proprietary Dotty’s platform, or single-line Game Kings. 

You will find some $1 8/5 Bonus Poker and 9/6 Jacks on the bottom level. However, 100 coins are required to get the full royal flush payout. Smaller bets put the games about 0.75% below the proper payouts unless you are willing to bet $100 per hand.

Avi

Avi has no playable video poker. The best game we found was 7/5 Bonus Poker, which holds 2%. The best variant is 6/5 Bonus Poker on Ultimate X. The other variants include Hot Roll, 3/5/10 Play, Super Times Pay, Double Super Times Pay, Spin Poker, Triple Spin Poker, Extra Draw, Deal Draw, Triple Wheel, Split Card, Powerhouse, Six Card Poker, and Multi Strike. The typical denominations are $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $0.50, and $1. 

Riverside 

The best video poker is $1 16/10 Deuces Wild (99.73%) at the bar overlooking the Colorado River. Other quality $1 games, available at all bars, are 9/7 Double Bonus (99.11%) 9/6 Double Double Bonus (98.98%), 15/9 Deuces Wild (98.91%), and 8/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe (98.49%). The bar by the south entrance has $0.25 and higher 15/9 Deuces Wild at $0.25 and higher. 

On the casino floor, $1 9/6 Double Double Bonus with a royal flush progressive is available next to Seattle’s Best. The 15/9 Deuces Wild game is scattered throughout the floor. The high-limit slots area generally has worse paytables than the floor, except for $10 9/7 Double Bonus, which is on a few machines. Few video poker variants are available beyond the basic titles. 

Harrah’s

Harrah’s video poker took a major downgrade since our last visit. The best game we found under the $5 denomination was 8/5 Jacks or Better (97.3%). Two machines in the high-limit slots room have $5 and $10 8/5 Bonus Poker. The variants are the typical variety. The best paytable we found is 6/5 Bonus Poker on Ultimate X, which returns just over 98%. 

Golden Nugget

Pioneer

The best bar game is $1, $2, and $5 30/8/5 Bonus Poker (98.48%). The floor has some better options, including $0.50 and $1 12/9 Deuces and Joker Wild (99.07%), 15/9 Deuces Wild (98.91%), 13/4/4/ Bonus Deuces (98.8%), 8/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe (98.49%), and 9/5 Jacks or Better (98.45%). These are along the wall by the sportsbook on the river side. On the other side of the sportsbook, players will find some of these games at the $1 denomination, plus 8/5 Ace$ Poker (99.4%). Few video poker variants are offered.

Edgewater

The best video poker at Edgewater is 15/9 Deuces Wild (98.91%). It is available at quarter and higher denominations on the floor and at the main bar. The bar also has 98.5% games like 8/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe, 17/7/5 Joker Poker, and 9/5 Jacks or Better. Choose the old bar top machines. The newer ones have much worse paytables. The O’Aces bar also has these games. Some have progressive royal flush meters. The video poker variant selection is small, only offering the main types of games found on All Star Game Kings. 

Aquarius

Most of the playable video poker is in the high-limit slots area. It is $1, $2, $5, and $10 8/5 Bonus Poker (99.17%), 9/6 Double Double Bonus (98.98%), 15/9 Deuces Wild (98.91%), 9/6 Ace & Deuces (98.78%), and a few others around 98.5%. 

A bank of $5 9/5 Double Double Bonus machines has four progressive meters. One bank of machines has a $1 royal flush progressive near the south exit. It has a 100% version of 10/6 Double Double Bonus and 9/7 Double Bonus. 

All bar video poker we checked out was downgraded since our 2024 visit. The video poker variant selection is typical of All Star machines. 

Regency

Poker Rooms

Laughlin is home to two live poker rooms. These are at Harrah’s and Riverside, which are on opposite sides of the casino strip along the Colorado River. 

Riverside Poker Room

Riverside Laughlin remodeled its poker room in 2026. With nine tables, it has the larger and more active poker room of the two in the market. The Riverside poker room opens daily at 8am. It closes when the last game breaks. 

The main game is 2-10 spread limit hold’em. If there is a game running, it is that one. The minimum buy-in is $20. Busier hours have a 1/2 no-limit hold’em. The minimum buy-in is $100. It is uncapped. There may be a 2-6 spread limit Omaha hi/lo game on Saturdays. 

Tournaments run daily at the Riverside poker room. All are no-limit hold’em. There is a 10am tournament every day. It is a turbo with a $25 buy-in. 

The 7pm tournament is $50 no-limit hold’em on Sundays and Mondays. On Wednesdays, it is a $50 no-limit Omaha hi/lo tournament. Fridays and Saturdays have a $120 no-limit hold’em tournament.

The Riverside poker room spreads many promotions. These involve high hands, aces cracked, and a bad beat jackpot. Players who win cash game promotions or make qualifying hands earn free entry into the King of Kings tournaments. These run three days a week (Sundays at 3pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm) and have a $1000 prize pool. Players who win a cash game hand with a club or diamond flush, or lose with pocket kings, also qualify. 

King of Kinds qualifying hands:

• Aces full or better
• Any winning flush
• Cracked pocket kings
• Lose with any full house
• Cash in any tournament

Players start with 1000 in chips. Additional qualifying hands receive 200 more chips. For $20, players may add-on 5000 tournament chips. This is an admin fee and does not go to the prize pool. The final nine players standing chop the prize pool evenly.

Harrah’s Laughlin Poker Room

Harrah’s Laughlin is home to eight poker tables. The poker room is open 10am to 4am Thursday through Sunday. It is dark on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

There are two main games dealt at the Harrah’s poker room. One is 3/6 fixed-limit hold’em. The other is a short-stacked 2/5 no-limit game. The buy-in is $100 to $500. Other games are dealt upon request.

Several cash game promotions are available. These include high hands and aces cracked. 

Harrah’s Laughlin deals poker tournaments Thursday through Sunday. On Thursdays and Sundays, the buy-in is $65. It is $85 on Fridays. On Saturdays, it is $100. Tournaments start at noon and 6pm on these days. All tournaments are no-limit Texas hold’em.

On the last Sunday of each month, the noon no-limit hold’em tournament has a $200 buy-in and $10 dealer add-on. Players who give 40 hours of cash game action during the month while clocked in with their Caesars Rewards card receive a free entry. Harrah’s adds $3000 to the prize pool.

Bingo

More than half of Laughlin casinos once offered bingo rooms. Today, only three are left. These are at Edgewater, Riverside, and Tropicana. Each of these casinos offers daily bingo sessions. There are seven or eight daily sessions, depending on the casino. 

Edgewater

Edgewater hosts eight bingo sessions each day. The times are 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, and 11pm. Cashback jackpots are available at all sessions. Play for $1 per card up to 30 cards. A $1 validation fee on color packs and a $2 validation fee on rainbow packs applies.

Edgewater has a special bingo series during slow months. These offer massive prize pools in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, attracting bingo players from throughout the region. 

Riverside

Riverside deals seven daily bingo sessions. The times are 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 7:30pm, and 11pm. All sessions have at least 12 games. The 7:30pm game has 17, and the 3pm and 11pm ones offer 13. Each session offers a different special, including increased payouts for coveralls and perks for King of Clubs players card members.

Tropicana

Tropicana has seven daily bingo sessions. At 9am and 9pm, there is an odd-even coverall. Super Win progressive coveralls are held at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm, and Double Action Matinees at 1pm and 5pm. There are other promotions on special days. Each month, the top three players with the most sessions receive Caesars Rewards credits.

Dining during past visits

During our 2024 visit, we spent more time and ate multiple meals in Laughlin. During that trip, we ate dinner three nights and breakfast twice. Otherwise, we brought snacks to eat during the day. The last morning, we opted to head back to Las Vegas sooner rather than grab breakfast first.

Dinner with a riverside view at The Gourmet Room

We decided to reward ourselves with a nice dinner, so reservations were made for The Gourmet Room inside Riverside Resort. No major traffic issues and a smooth check-in experience allowed us to make it to our dinner reservation early. 

We were seated at a table overlooking the Colorado River. Our table had a corner view allowing us to look up and down the river while enjoying our meal. With the sun setting later in the evening, the river was still full of people enjoying jet skis and other watercraft.

With both of us in the mood for steak, we decided on the chateaubriand for two and a bottle of wine. We each had the option of a house salad or the soup of the day. It also came with a side of vegetables and scalloped potatoes, the chef’s potato of the day. Our choice of wine was a bottle of Fess Parker Syrah.

After the salad with a delicious house dressing was enjoyed, we were given sorbet to cleanse our palates. The chateaubriand was sliced and served tableside. We were even able to divide the sides to our liking. This left John with a large portion of vegetables while splitting the potatoes. We passed on dessert.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We dined for just over an hour, starting around 5:15pm. The chateaubriand was $90 and the wine was another $58. After-tax, but before tipping, our total was $161.

Sunday breakfast at Carnegie’s Cafe

Sunday morning we drove to Tropicana Laughlin to begin our casino survey. Before assessing the gambling, we had breakfast at Carnegie’s Cafe. Kristina ordered French toast while John had the American Style Breakfast. His breakfast consisted of two eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and toast. We both also ordered a drink.

Service was efficient cafe service and left no complaints. The food was tasty. In typical cafe style, payment is made at the counter on the way out. We ate around 10:30am. There was no line when we arrived, however, there was a moderate wait when we left. Our drinks were $4 each. Kristina’s French toast cost $10 while John’s breakfast plate was $14. Before tipping, breakfast was around $35.

Early-bird dinner at Stockman’s Steakhouse

After evaluating the gambling at Laughlin casinos, we made dinner plans while getting refreshed in our room. When searching for places to eat, many were already booked. However, we were able to grab an early reservation at Stockman’s Steakhouse. So we took the Water Taxi to Edgewater Casino.

We ordered nonalcoholic beverages since we were planning on gambling after dinner. We realized how hungry we were after bread was placed on the table. The seasoned rolls were delicious. We continued satisfying our appetites by sharing a crab cake appetizer. 

For dinner, John took advantage of an early-bird 10oz prime rib special. It was available Sunday through Thursday from 3pm until 6pm, the special also came with veggies and a choice of potato. Kristina had an 8oz fillet. Both entrees came with a soup or salad. We also added a side of mac and cheese to share.

Overall, it was another pleasant dinner experience. Dinner was a little after 5pm. Sodas were $3 each. The crab cake appetizer was $20 and the early-bird special was $28. The fillet cost $48 and the extra side was $9. After-tax, but before tipping, our total was $120.

After-dinner drinks in the Hideaway Martini Lounge

Next, we rode the Water Taxi back to Riverside Resort to enjoy a round of after-dinner drinks. We noticed the Hideaway Martini Lounge the previous night on the way to dinner, so we decided to try it out. 

The menu consists of a large selection of martinis. Other cocktails and drinks are also available. After perusing the menu outside the lounge, we sampled a couple of specialty martinis. The bar area was full, so we sat in the lounge area. There is also a free-to-play jukebox. Drinks were $5.50 each, before tip.

Two meals at Riverview Restaurant on Monday

Breakfast the second morning was enjoyed at Riverview Restaurant. We both ordered the Aces breakfast special. It came with French toast, two eggs, and two pieces of bacon or sausage. Additionally, John ordered a glass of orange juice while Kristina ordered a glass of milk.

The eggs ordered over medium were closer to over easy; otherwise, the food and service were great. The Aces specials were $10 each. Milk was $4.25 and the juice was $5.25. After-tax and before tip, our total for breakfast was $32.

By Monday night, it was clear that many restaurants in Laughlin require advance reservations. Reservations for most locations were unavailable through OpenTable. Calling directly did not have better results. Since we were unprepared, we decided to eat again at the Riverview Restaurant.

Riverview Restaurant had a barbecue chicken special. We decided to split the half-chicken meal. The special also came with a side salad and a choice of side. We both ordered soft drinks. Drinks were $4 each. The barbecue special was $15. After-tax and before tip, our total was $25.

Other dining options in Laughlin

There are many more restaurants and dining experiences we have not had a chance to try during our visits. This includes a dinner cruise on the Grand Celebration. Instead of dinner, we selected to go for the daytime Laughlin Scenic Cruise on Monday. The 90-minute cruise features a narration explaining the history of the area. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. Beers started at $5.75, specialty cocktails were $11, and frozen cocktails were $12 or $13. We upgraded our drink and shared a specialty cocktail in a 32oz souvenir bucket. It was $24 before tipping.
