Crapless craps is like the traditional version of the game with a few exceptions. These differences can make a big difference in the house edge of certain wagers.
In crapless craps, the pass line and come bet can’t lose on the first roll. It wins on a 7. Every other number becomes a point. There are no don’t bets at a crapless craps table. This game can be found in Las Vegas and Ohio casinos. It is not usually available at online casinos.

Bad bets exclusive to crapless craps
There are several bad bets on a crapless craps table that are not available on the traditional craps felt. Here are a few:
Place 2 and 12
Since 2 and 12 are potential points in crapless craps, these numbers can also be placed like the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 can be at traditional craps tables. When a place bet on 2 or 12 wins at crapless craps, it is paid 11/2. The house advantage on this bet is 7.14%. If betting at least $20, most casinos will give you a free buy on these numbers. That drops the house edge to as low as 0.67%, depending on the amount wagered. It is no worse than 0.83%. Never place these numbers when the buy is available.
Place 3 and 11
Like the 2 and 12, 3 and 11 are available to be placed at a crapless craps table. These bets pay 11/4. The house edge is 6.25%. Buying these numbers for $25 or $50 will drop the house advantage to as low as 1.33% if the commission is only charged on wins. It is 1.67% on $20 increments.
Pass line and come
While the pass line and come bets are available on standard craps games, these wagers are different at crapless craps. The pass line and come can’t lose on the first roll at crapless craps. It only wins on a 7. All other numbers, including the 2, 3, 11, and 12, are potential points.
Not losing on the come out roll may seem like a great rule, but it is a gimmick. Not winning on the 11 more than offsets at least temporarily surviving the 2, 3, or 12. For this reason, the house edge is 5.38% on the pass line and come at crapless craps.
This can be made better when taking maximum odds on these bets. A 3-4-5 times crapless craps game drops the house edge to about 1.5%. A 5 times game has a house edge around 1%. It drops to about 0.5% at a 10 times crapless craps game.

Other bad crapless craps bets
The following bets are among the worst available at crapless craps. The same wagers are found on a standard craps felt.
Any 7
The any 7 bet, also called big red, is settled on one roll. If it is a 7, the player wins 4/1. If it is any other roll, it loses. The house edge on this bet is 16.67%, making it the worst bet on the table.
Hops
A hop bet is when the player tries to call the exact roll. If it can only be rolled one way, it pays 30/1. If it can be rolled two ways, it pays 15/1. The house edge is 13.89% on the 30/1, and 11.11% on the 15/1.
World bet
Some players call the world bet a whirl. Either way, at 13.33%, its house edge is too high to ever be profitable.
Horn bet
The horn bet covers the 2, 3, 11 and 12 equally. The house edge is 12.5%. If a player puts an extra chip on the 2 or 12, called a horn high 2 or horn high 12, the house edge goes up 0.28%. It drops 0.28% if the high chip is on the 3 or 11.
Hardway 4 and 10
A hardway bet wins if the number comes as doubles before it is rolled another way or a 7 is called. The house edge on the 4 and 10 hardways is 11.11%.
Any craps
The any craps bet covers 2, 3 and 12 on the next roll. The payout is 7/1 if it wins. The house edge is 11.11%.
Hardway 6 and 8
The hard 6 and 8 are slightly better than the hard 4 and 10 in terms of the house advantage. This bet wins if the doubles version of the number is rolled before it comes the easy way or a 7 is rolled. The house edge is 9.09%.
Big 6 and big 8
Some crapless craps tables offer the big 6 and big 8 in the hook. This is the same as placing the 6 or 8, but with a catch. The big 6 and big only pay even money. That makes the house edge 9.09%. Placing $6 to win $7 or $12 to win $14 only has a house advantage of 1.52%.
