There are four casinos that deal blackjack in Ohio. All offer six and eight-deck games. Three of the four deal high limit double deck blackjack. There are also two blackjack variants dealt at Ohio casinos. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to play blackjack and other table games.

The state’s race tracks do not deal any table games. Those establishments are limited to slots and video keno.

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati

Hard Rock Cincinnati offers more blackjack options than any other casino in the state. It starts with $5 6:5 blackjack. That is the only 6:5 game at Hard Rock Cincinnati. All other blackjack there pays 3:2. It includes $15 or $25 eight-deck blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack and Zappit 21. These games hit soft 17. 

There are two blackjack games in the Hard Rock Cincinnati high limit room. There is a double deck blackjack game with double down before but not after splitting on 10 and 11. That game hits soft 17. There is a six-deck game that stands on soft 17 with normal double down rules. Both of these games typically have a $50 minimum bet.

Hollywood Casino Columbus

There are four different blackjack games dealt at Hollywood Casino Columbus. There are some low limit 6:5 tables. At $15, blackjack pays 3:2. That game uses eight decks, hits soft 17 and has standard double down rules. 

The other two blackjack games are in the high limit room at Hollywood Casino Columbus. Both pay 3:2 and have a $50 minimum bet. One is a double deck that permits double down on 9, 10 and 11 before splitting. This game stands on soft 17. The $50 six-deck game has standard double down rules and stands on soft 17.

Hollywood Casino Toledo

Hollywood Casino Toledo has four blackjack options. For $10 or $15, there is an eight-deck game that hits soft 17, pays 3:2 and has the normal double down rules. For $50, this game is dealt in high limit with six decks and stands on soft 17. The other $50 high limit game is double deck blackjack. It hits soft 17. Players may double down before and after splitting on 9, 10 and 11. There is also 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack for $25.

JACK Cleveland Casino

There are five blackjack options at JACK Cleveland Casino. The 6:5 games are often what is available for $15. At $25, though it may go down to $15 when it is slow, there is 3:2 six and eight-deck blackjack. It has normal double down rules. The dealer hits soft 17. There is also $25 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack on the floor.

The high limit salon offers six-deck blackjack. It stands on all 17’s and has normal double down rules. The minimum bet is $100.
