Maryland blackjack rules vary greatly. Some tables pay 6:5, but most have a 3:2 payout. Some high-limit Maryland blackjack games stand on all 17’s, though most hit soft 17. There are rule changes such as surrender and re-splitting aces that also affect the player’s expected return at a given blackjack game.
We visited all six Maryland casinos. The list below shows what we found in terms of minimum bets and rules, just as we do in our Las Vegas Blackjack Survey.
There are three blackjack variants dealt at Maryland casinos. Spanish 21 is available at Hollywood Casino Perryville and Live! Casino & Hotel. Players Edge 21, a game that is like Spanish 21, is dealt at Ocean Downs.
Pontoon is offered at MGM National Harbor. It is the only casino in the region with that game.

You may find lower minimums during the week, especially during daylight hours, and also on some weeknights. Weekend nights may be higher.
