Hard Rock Casino is in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. It was once JACK Cincinnati. The property changed hands in 2021. The rebranding was ongoing during our May 2021 visit to the property. Before JACK, it was Horseshoe Cincinnati.

There are more than 1,600 slots and video poker machines at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati. The property has an events center, 100 table games, a poker room, a Hard Rock Sportsbook, and four dining options. 

Players must be at least 21 years old. Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is open 24 hours a day. The casino uses automated drink ordering. Patrons use the touch screen on the players card part of the machine to make a choice. It is delivered by a waitress if the player qualifies to receive a complimentary drink.

Hard Rock Cincinnati casino games

There are six different blackjack games dealt at Hard Rock Cincinnati. The 6:5 games start at $5. At $15, there is eight-deck 3:2 blackjack with double down before and after splitting and the dealer hitting soft 17. This game becomes six decks and stands on all 17’s in the high limit room. The high limit room also has a double deck game with double down only on 10 and 11 before but not after splitting.

Hard Rock Cincinnati deals two blackjack variants. Those are $15 3:2 Zappit 21 and 3:2 Free Bet Blackjack. 

Like nearly everywhere else in Ohio, smoking is not permitted inside Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati. However, there is a smoking gaming patio. It has 12 live table games and over 100 slots. Video poker is available at the outside bar. Patrons must be at least 21 years of age.

Hard Rock Cincinnati sportsbook

Ohio sports betting launched on January 1, 2023. A Hard Rock Sportsbook is located inside the casino. It offers 33 sports betting kiosks, TVs to watch the games, and snacks from the Hard Rock Café.

Betting windows open at 11am on weekdays and 10am on weekends. It closes at 11pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 12:30am the other nights. Hours may vary based on live sporting events. Tickets may be cashed at the casino cage after sportsbook hours. A mobile and online sportsbook is also available.

Hard Rock Cincinnati poker

There are 30 tables at the Hard Rock Cincinnati poker room. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The main game is 1/3 no limit Texas hold’em. The buy-in is $100 to $300. There may also be a larger no limit game, pot limit Omaha, or fixed limit hold’em during busier hours.

Hard Rock Cincinnati players club

The players club at Hard Rock Cincinnati is called Wild Rewards. Players earn tier status through a calendar year. Premier is the entry-level card. At 4,000 annual points, players make it to the Wild Rewards Platinum tier. Elite starts at 15,000 tier points. The XCARD is by invitation only. Wild Rewards is used at some other Hard Rock properties.
