Presque Isle Casino

There are about 1,500 slots and 32 table games at Presque Isle Casino. There is also a sportsbook and racetrack. However, the poker room never reopened.

Table games

We found 32 table games at Presque Isle during our visit in May 2021. Blackjack tables use eight decks on the main casino floor. Six decks are used in high limit. Both games permit double down on any two cards before and after splitting, as well as surrender. Pairs, except aces, may be re-split one time. The dealer stands on soft 17.

The limits below are based on what we expect players will find at table games most hours of the day. Minimum bets may be higher or lower based on business levels. Tables open at 11am daily.

Presque Isle Downs & Casino sportsbook

Presque Isle Downs & Casino racetrack

Presque Isle Downs hosts 80 days of live thoroughbred horse races. The 2023 racing season started on May 15 and runs through October 19. Standard race days are Mondays through Wednesdays. Thursday race days are added in August. The first post time is 3pm. Simulcast wagering is available daily.

There are two restaurants at Presque Isle Downs & Casino.

• Churchill’s Bourbon and Brew – Located on the second floor overlooking the mile-long racetrack. There are 30 beers on tap and a large bourbon selection. On Friday nights from 5pm until 7pm, there is live entertainment and 50% off appetizers, draft beer, and well drinks.
• LBV Steakhouse – Located in the heart of the casino.

There are three bars at Presque Isle Downs. Bar-top video poker is available at all three bars. Bar 90 serves drinks from 5pm until midnight Monday through Thursday and 1pm until 2am Friday through Sunday nights. The Hub is located at the center of the casino. Drink service is available from 9am until 2am daily.

There is not a hotel at Presque Isle Downs. Three local hotels offer packages or discounts for Players Club Card members.
