Deadwood Mountain Grand is one of Deadwood’s newest hotels and casinos. It was built on the old Homestake Slime Plant property. Guests will find a casino, hotel, two restaurants, and a concert venue here. It is one block from Main Street on the south end of downtown Deadwood.

Deadwood Mountain Grand has around 200 slots and seven table games.

The limits are $5 to $100 for all table games, except double deck blackjack, where it is $10 to $100.

There is double zero roulette, craps with 10 times odds, Three Card Poker, six-deck blackjack, and double deck blackjack. All blackjack tables hit soft 17. Players may double down before splitting in both games. In the six-deck, players may also double down after splitting. The double deck table does not permit double down after a split.

There are two electronic table games. Video craps and blackjack have a $1 minimum bet. The blackjack game allows double down before and after splitting, as well as surrender. It hits soft 17.

The only exception is 8/5 Jacks or Better with a return-to-player of 97.3 percent with perfect play and five coins wagered. It is on a bank of machines near the bar. The denominations are nickel, dime, quarter, half-dollar, dollar, and two-dollar.

A selection of steak, chicken, pork chop, and seafood entrees is available after 4pm.

There is a concert hall at Deadwood Mountain Grand that seats 1,800 people. National musical and comedy acts perform here, especially during the summer months.

Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel

The Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel is affiliated with Holiday Inn. It offers 98 nonsmoking rooms, including five suites. There is a $9.95 per day resort fee. It includes free covered parking, access to the indoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, WiFi, bicycles, a business center, and access to Deadwood Rec and Aquatics Center. A gift shop is available.
