Bronco Billy’s is one of the largest casinos in Cripple Creek. Its storefronts expand across a large section of East Bennett Avenue. It is home to about 800 slot and video poker machines. There are also ten table games. The casino is open 24 hours.
The slot and video poker selection is massive compared to most of Cripple Creek. The variety of titles is impressive for a casino of its size. There are some good video poker pay tables among the games. There are four restaurants on the property. Its hotel is located on the next block. A hotel expansion is currently under construction.

Bronco Billy’s Casino
The table game pit is at the end of the casino furthest from the hotel. It is home to four tables of six-deck blackjack. Players may double down before and after splitting on two cards. Aces may be re-split into three hands. The dealer hits soft 17. Blackjack pays 3:2.
There are five other table games at Bronco Billy’s. It is home to the only Spanish 21 table we found at any of the Colorado casinos that we visited. There is also Cajun Stud, which is essentially Mississippi Stud with new side bets. Double zero roulette, Three Card Poker, and craps are also available. Craps offers ten times odds. The field pays double on 12.
During our October 2021 visit, the minimum bet at all table games was $10. The maximum is generally $500. Table games are open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am until midnight, and on Friday and Saturday from 10am until 2am.
Bronco Billy’s was home to the only stadium gaming we found in Cripple Creek. Craps and Big Six were available for a $1 minimum. For a $3 minimum, double zero roulette and blackjack are available. Blackjack pays 3:2. Baccarat has a $5 minimum bet. On the stadium, maximum bets ranged from $100 for Big Six and roulette to $2,000 for craps. Video roulette is also available for the same $3 minimum bet. It has a $2,000 maximum.
Blackjack and roulette have live dealer options. These live dealer versions are available Wednesday through Sunday starting at noon.





Bronco Billy’s video poker
Bronco Billy’s offers a massive selection of video poker. This includes some quality bar games. Video poker variants we found are Super Triple Play, Ultimate X, Ultimate X Bonus Streak, 100 Play, and Big Split. The denominations on multi-hand games tend to be nickel, dime, quarter, and half-dollar.
Our top single line game on the floor is Not-so-ugly Deuces Wild. There is also 9/7 Double Bonus. and 9/6 Double Double Bonus Poker. These games are dealt in quarter and dollar denominations. Double Bonus is also available for $5.
Mile High Rewards club
Mile High Rewards is Bronco Billy’s players club. There are five tiers. Players start at Base Camp. Below is the information with each tier’s benefits. All tiers include the perks of the one above it in addition to the ones listed.
Tier points are earned at a rate of one per dollar coin-in at slots and $5 at video poker. Players earn one slot point per dollar before multipliers. Points may be exchanged at a rate of 1,000 per dollar in free slot play.
- Summit: 10,000 tier points – Double slot points, $25 hot seat bonus and tournament winning boost, $10 tier achievement bonus and private events.
- Pinnacle: 75,000 tier points – Triple slot points, $100 hot seat bonus and tournament winning boost, $50 tier achievement bonus, exclusive drawings and events and players club express line.
- Peak: 175,000 tier points – 5x slot points, $200 hot seat bonus and tournament winnings boost, $100 tier achievement bonus, casino host, cash advance fees reimbursed, priority line for gift pickups and a $2,000 bonus for achieving 1,000,000 tier points in the first or last six months of the year.
- EIP – 175,000 tier points in a quarter: Same perks as peak but with 7x slot points, $300 hot seat bonus and tournament winnings boost and $200 tier achievement bonus.
Tiers last six months. Earning periods run from January through June and July through December. Points expire after six months of inactivity. The points needed in a six-month span are listed with the perks.
Sports betting
Bronco Billy’s previously had Twinspires, which was formerly known as BetAmerica, sports betting kiosks located throughout the casino floor. Any outstanding winning tickets may be redeemed at the cashier cage.
Dining and drinks at Bronco Billy’s
Bronco Billy’s Casino has two dining options. Options include a family-friendly cafe and Mexican fare. Multiple bars are located throughout the casino. The Steakhouse is currently closed for renovations.

Open daily, Home Café serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, and entrees, like country-fried steak and steak frites. Breakfast items feature a classic breakfast plate, pancakes, and omelets. Minors are welcome to dine at the Home Café but must enter the casino through the family entrance.
Baja Billy’s Cantina is located upstairs in the casino. The Mexican fare here includes enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and fajitas, all with signature sauces such as Chipotle and Habanero.

Bronco Billy’s hotel
Bronco Billy’s Casino has a hotel near the casino with 14 historic rooms. All Carr Manor rooms are nonsmoking and include WiFi, refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, free parking, and complimentary breakfast with hairdryers available by request. Built in 1986, rooms are themed to reflect Cripple Creek’s gold mining history.
Plans to expand the hotel by almost 200 rooms, expand the gaming floor and add a parking garage are underway. The expansion will mix the historical brickwork with modern mirrored windows topping the structure.
